"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6

What does the Word
THROUGH
 Mean?

The above quoted statement about primitive Christianity illustrates a simple truth from its founder Jesus Christ.  He was and is the "way", not the destination.  The road or way pictured above is leading to somewhere, in order to locate someone in particular.  In this sense people usually travel a particular path so as to find a location where an individual is residing.  Therefore the object of our path or way would be to lead us to a Person [God] who is located in a particular place [heaven].

Would anyone in their right mind sit down on a road or way and believe that they had reached their destination?  Of course not!  However, modern Christians today will read from the Scriptures Jesus' words and want you to interpret it to mean just that in order for you to be "saved"!

Jesus' quoted statement at John 14:6 of "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" illustrates the role Jesus played for primitive Christians.  Not Jesus, but the Father was the destination of primitive Christians. Jesus was not the end goal, it was the Father, his Father. Jesus was the Way to the Father, the God of the Hebrews: YHWH, rendered into English as Jehovah or Yehowah.

Thinking people can understand what the word "through" means, it's not difficult.  If we go through a tunnel in order to get to the other side of an otherwise impassable mountain, we appreciate the tunnel for the purpose for which it was made; it is simply a means to an end, the end being the destination located on the other side of that mountain.

If Jesus were alive today as he was in the first century*, do you personally believe he would be pleased with all the adoration he is receiving?  Note his own quoted statement taken from his world-famous Sermon on the Mount and recorded for us at Matthew 7:21-23:

Not everyone saying to me, "Lord, Lord," will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.  Many will say to me in that day, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?"  And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness.

Note that Jesus spoke of "that day", speaking of the day he would confront his own fans, those who idolize him.  It is evident that the will of Jesus was for his followers to do the will of his Father, not to idolize him and do works in his name.

Why do Christians today ignore the God of the ancient Hebrews? The very God that Jesus claimed to represent?  Why have they combined the Son with the Father into a Trinitarian God?  By making Jesus God, are they not in reality rejecting his role as the Christ?

The two basic foundations of primitive Christianity, referring to the original Christians, was the firm belief in One God, the One that Jesus represented and that THIS God raised the one that represented HIM from the dead in order to fulfill the Abrahamic and Davidic covenants.

It is the firm belief based on the research of the author of this website that the doctrines of the Trinity and the Immortality of the Human Soul that form the foundation of practically all modern-day Christian organizations, have no ancient Judeo-Christian root and in fact nullify the very basis of Christian theology.

*Note: Jesus died and was resurrected with an immortal spirit body and no longer has the body he gave as a ransom for mankind.
